Just worth noting

Poop, and lots of it.

Izzy rested for about 15 minutes after Melonie left and became moody and fidgity. After extending her arms to me several times, I held her for a bit sitting upright. Got some good coughs, but her belly felt drum-tight.

Approx 15 min after laying her back down her bowels relinquished, and although still a little miserable sounding, she appears to be winding down. To sleep, perchance to dream.
Dale

p.s. Won't this post be fun to read to her when she's older and has the potential for embarassment?

McKenzie will be so busy running around and enjoying life that she won't care who read this! Mostly she'll know how much her parents love her :o) I think it's sweet :o) Things sound so much better today...God Bless...

Probably best to put all this in a scrapbook. That way, she can choose who reads this information. :)
So glad she got some relief!
Continued prayers.

With that burden lifted she can relax a little more and spend her energy on getting stronger.

Dale Gerard! I specifically never put references to those problems on here because of her later tweenage embarrassment. Glad to hear it though and remind them to give her her powder tonight. It wouldn't have been given last night if I hadn't reminded them.
Izzy,
Remember this post is from Daddy, not Mama. Love you angel! Play some more and sorry you can't get on the floor.

If you really want to scare her, tell her you have the pictures to accompany it! Nothing shakes up my almost 14 year old like the thought of someone seeing the pictures of him on the potty or butt naked in the kitchen floor. Embarrasing maybe, but good news. Poop is progress. Izzy is on the mend and fighting to go home. We're happy for poop! Prayers still coming your way.

You wouldn't dare! Read it to her as a teenager? Or, even worse, at her wedding? Glad things are going well. Those smiles and cuddles should be returning soon.
