She's still swelling up following each feeding, but has become
more efficient in deflating herself. Today she started out
gangbusters eating-wise, then tapered off as time progressed as she
grew steadily more tired following each new interuption (she only
had ~2 oz around 3pm). One of the hardest things here is to
manipulate the situation to where she finally nods off then chase
off anyone daring to disturb her sleep.
The IV lasix continues, the more liquid lost the better. I do not see any significant difference in her puffy face now vs. earlier, but we will see. A few full diapers might have been the difference in making her more comfortable sooner following feeds.
Oxygen feed is now decreased down to .12 L/min, an insignificant amount to most, but possibly just enough to keep Izzy's sats where they need to be. If possible, it will be further lowered/removed.
One thing we have to continue monitoring is her hemoglobin levels. There appears to be a slight downward trend.
That is all.

p.s. No. That was not all. There was a welcome level of smiling today with a couple of unexpected weak laughs.
