In Surgery

Happy Izzy pre-op. April 13, 2009.

 They just took Izzy back to surgery. She woke up very happy this morning and stayed that way until about 45 minutes of being held in place. She wanted to move and get around. Then they gave her versed and she calmed right down. She was so drugged that she couldn't hold on to her pacifier, yet she wanted it so. We gave our final kisses, then they stole her away. We are waiting to hear from the nurses to see how things are going and when she goes on the by-pass machine.

This was so much harder than the last time. I didn't want to let her go, but I know when she comes back she will be fixed.
