Trying to Hang In There

McKenzie still is not eating and the only time we can get her to take formula is if we put it in cereal. Luckily, she will eat that. She is getting dark circles around her eyes though. The possibility of dehydration is stronger. That is always a concern for us since Izzy is on lasix. She seems to be breathing harder, but it so hard to tell with her. Some retraction is normal for her. If there is no improvement by tomorrow, she is going back to the docs. Don't know which one since the primary care couldn't find anything wrong. Please send positive vibes our way to get her healthy again.

I agree with Vicki, maybe the Cardiologist should have a look. Our Cardiologist likes to be informed of all of Jayci's health concerns even if the particular problem doesn't concern her heart. It's always better that way for Jayci.

I know you guys have to be feeling stressed. It's really frustrating when you feel so helpless when these kids are not feeling well. Keep an eye on her sats, and we'll be praying that she stays in her baseline. I very much disliked having to tube feed, but I found later it sure is a relief to have when these kids won't eat themselves. We will be praying for you guys. Maybe the cardiologist will take a look at her, so you can have some comfort. cp: littlemanvaitor
