There were more setbacks today. The morning started with McKenzie having about three SVTs, instances where her heart rate was around 250 beats per minute as opposed to her normal 160. Her heart rate was abnormal for several hours after that. She didn't look right either. She was ashen and not her normal self. Later in the day, she had the same anomaly as yesterday with the high lactic acid and her periphery was not getting the oxygenated blood it needed. She is back on the nasal canula with nitrous oxide and the medicine to get more oxygen to her extremities.
Hopefully, she will begin progressing again quickly.
