McKenzie is doing well. She is being weaned from the nasal canula that blows oxygen into her nose and she is completely off her heart meds. She was allowed to drink from a bottle yesterday and did very well (she took 1/6 of an ounce). She is progressing, still slowly, but progessing. The best part of this week is that we have been able to hold McKenzie again!!! She gets so comfortable in our arms. It is so nice.

McKenzie also started to truly interact with us this week. We brought in a new doll she was given and she loved it. She followed the bright colors with her eyes and smiled a ton. It was amazing to watch. She was having so much fun. We can't wait until she can come home and see more than just a hospital room and people in scrubs.

What a Big Girl!
We could not be happier to see that Mckenzie is making amazing progress....Before you know it, she will be home with Phin and the petting zoo....Great news!

McKenzie looks like you, Mel!
Your pictures are beautiful and we can see McKenzie progressing and looking stronger and just beautiful! She looks like her mama! I see a lot of Dale in Phin :o)
We're praying for the day to come soon when you can all be together at home, a happy and beautiful family! It's coming!

Amazing!
I am so happy that you are able to hold Mckenzie again. She looks bigger than she did on Monday. I know that she will be growing stronger and healthier every day because you can hold her. She is truly a miracle. I love the picture!
