Doing Well

First time a barrett stayed in her hair! (And the toothbrush is really used to brush her hair. She took it from me as I put the barrett in and wouldn't give it back.) February 20, 2009.

Izzy is doing well. She finally started eating again. She is averaging about 30 ounces a day, plus solids. It has been over a month since she did that well. She is playing great and is getting so close to be able to go from laying down to sitting on her own. Her therapists think she'll be there by Tuesday when they see again. She is getting really vocal too. With all of this growth, she is getting to be a little trouble-maker. Yesterday morning, she kept ripping off her socks, throwing them across the room, moving for them, then tossing them again. Last night, we went out to dinner and she tried to steal my plate, then Dale's, threw every toy to the floor, and tried to eat a napkin. It was an exhausting adventure and I'm not sure Dale and I will be ready to do it again for a while.

Way to go McKenzie! You're a spicy little thing aren't ya!!! I love it! You and Sydnie would make one great team. I could only imagine the kind of trouble you two would create together! lol!!! So cute! I hope you all can get in to see Dr. Walters earlier than the 17th. It's hard to wait so long! Prayers continue!
