McKenzie saw her general surgeon today and is recovering nicely from her last surgery. He is very impressed with her progress. We take that as a good sign. Even better news is that McKenzie now weighs 11 pounds 12 ounces! She is only gaining a couple of ounces a week, but she is gaining, even with not being able to eat for 1/2 a day last week and having slowed down Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hopefully, she'll continue this progression. We meet with the county nurse this Thursday to start the Early On program that can help with Izzy's development delays. Hopefully, with their help, McKenzie will progress even further.

YOU GO GIRL!!! Progress is progress. This sounds like the beginning of slow but sure and steady gains. Our wishes that it is so are huge!
