Izzy is Eating!

I've received the same question at least half a dozen times, so I figured others were curious. Izzy started eating at 3:30 pm yesterday and guzzled her entire bottle without even waking up. In the last 24 hours, she has had 17.5 ounces, which is excellent for her. We have high hopes that she will continue this trend of good eating. She ate over 19 ounces of 27 cal formula on Tuesday (her best ever) and is on track. That is what is leading to more questions for the docs. She is doing well now, so should they mess with her now or wait for surgery longer.

Wow!! Based on this seems like the docs might want to take a wait and see attitude and let Izzy show what she can do. We are so happy for all of you!!
