McKenzie is doing very well with her new formula. She is keeping it down and eating regularly. She is also getting up around 3:30 each morning to eat. While it is not good for Dale's and my sleep, we are very happy. It finally means that McKenzie is actually digesting her food so that her belly empties and she gets hungry! Unfortunately, this formula is not available in stores. We didn't have the time to look for it until today and we are almost out of the free sample from the doctor. I was able to order it online, but we might not get it until Thursday, despite paying for the express shipping. I guess she will have to make due with the last formula, which we still have and it is available in stores.

PS
If anyone sees Nutramigen AA Lipil in a store, please let me know immediately. Don't confuse it with regular Nutramigen, which is readily available, the AA is what makes it work. (AA stands for amino acids because it is broken down that far--just to amino acids for ease in digestion and it is for extreme food allergies.)

Yes, that is a new picture and there is another one in the photo album of her sitting up all by herself.

Sitting up all by herself on the couch. June 28, 2008.

The new picture is just adorable. She is so cute. Glad she likes her new formula. Getting up at 3:30 am is just part of the fun of being parents!! We're rooting for you. Keep up the good work McKenzie!!!

what a cutie!!
Love the hat!! and those chubby cheeks too. What a relief that there is a food supply that is working without the feeding tube. Love and patience wins in the end!!
