Keeping Our Fingers Crossed

McKenzie seems to be handling this cold better than any other she has had so far in her short life. Her sats are still good, relatively speaking (mid to low 70s when she sleeps). Her congestion is not too bad and she only coughs after having laid on her back for an extended period of time. I don't want to be too optimistic, but we are hopeful that she will not end up in the hospital this time. She is not eating great, but she is eating enough to keep hydrated. And, she has gained weight since last week (about 5 ounces). So, she is still down about a pound since her last illness, but seemingly on an upswing. Our fingers are still crossed and she has fooled us before, but here's hoping she stays out of the hospital through the end of this year!

Izzy,
I know this is your plan, anyway, but you need to be nice to your mommy since her birthday is coming soon. You need to make sure you stay out of the hospital. A very good birthday present for her would be for you to stay home and gain back at least that whole pound.
