Well, we are all much happier today than yesterday. McKenzie had her surgery today and it went very well. The doctor said putting in the IV was the hardest and longest part.

Her surgery started about 8:45 AM and the Surgeon was talking to us at 11:00 to tell us all went well. We are all not very sure exactly what happened. The way the doctor described it was that they went in with a type of probe and found the muscles that were working the best and that is where they made her body part. Then they sewed up the hole she had on the inside and the outside. He said he used layers of sutures on her. This is amazing since she is soooo small.

All we know is she is looking good. She was happy and smiling when they brought her back to the room. When I saw her she was doing alot of sleeping and she seems to not be in too much pain.

Mel & Dale...and little Phin and Izzy:
My thoughts are constantly with you all during all of little McKenzie's surgeries! I know all will be well with her! With all the happy and warm thoughts coming your way along with all the prayers, there will be no other outcome except a very healthy little baby girl to torment and bug her older brother soon! :)
