We are doing well. McKenzie is growing everyday. Unfortunately, she has been congested since coming home and needs to be on more antibiotics, but she is doing better. It looks like she will have her next surgery to fix a problem other than her heart in about a month or so. We'll know the exact date in two weeks. That surgery should fix the problems she has been having with her little bottom.

We meet with the cardiologist tomorrow to see if McKenzie will be able to go to day care when I return to work on June 9. Hopefully, she will give us the all clear. Then, we are done with doctors for this week (but still have the visiting nurse). Next week, McKenzie has three doctors' appointments. She is just a popular little girl. Everyone wants to get an indepth look at her.

Phin just loves his little sister and gives her hugs constantly. He is getting more used to the attention not being solely on him. He knows who McKenzie is and will point to her when we ask him where she is. He is great big brother and we know he will take care of her as they grow.

Glad to hear your life is going so well now. You certainly deserve that. Isn't it wonderful to see little Phin so attentive to his little sister!?! I do remember the days....not so long ago it seems. Enjoy cuz it sure goes fast!!

What a wonderful world....
We're all so thankful and happy to hear such positive updates from you about McKenzie and Phin, how wonderful to have your family all together now. Someday McKenzie will know how many prayers and how much loved poured her way. She is such a precious girl and know that we're always thinking of you all and keeping your family in our prayers. I bet grandma Stothers was just elated to finally hold McKenzie after her trip down south! Take lots of pictures!!
