At home and doing great! May 9, 2008.

I know many of you have been wondering how we are taking this next step. McKenzie is growing everyday! Other than that5, we are surviving. The hardest part of the day is getting up to an alarm at 5:45 to feed a sleeping baby and give her 10 meds while keeping a needy toddler occupied. After the meds, everything else is a breeze. McKenzie sleeps through the night generally w/o making much noise. She is awake at various times throughout the day. And we go to a lot of doctors appointments. The biggest challenge now is to get her fully on a bottle by the time my maternity leave ends on June 9 so that she can go to day care. Otherwise we don't know what we will do. I'm sure it will all work out somehow.

Glad to hear the good news about McKenzie growing every day. That is just wonderful!! We're so happy for you. Have fun and keep the good thoughts. We're sure everything will work out just fine. Glad Melonie is off until June 9. Have fun!!!

Getting so big!
It's really great to see a picture of McKenzie at home! She looks like she is thriving and she still has a few weeks to get the bottle feeding in shape. Even with all of the appointments etc. it must be so great to be in your own space.

Thanks for the update. We were wondering how it was going, but did not want to call and bother you. Let us know if you need anything. Mckenzie looks huge in her bassinette.
